Chớ coi thường chuyện vụn vặt xảy ra trên biên ải mà ta phải nghĩ tới chuyện khác lớn hơn là họ không bao giờ tôn trọng biên giới quy ước. Họ cứ luôn luôn đặt ra những cái cớ để tranh chấp. Không thôn tính được ta, thì gậm nhấm ta. Họ gậm nhấm đất đai của ta, lâu dần họ sẽ biến giang san của ta từ cái tổ đại bàng thành cái tổ chim chích. Vậy nên các người phải nhớ lời ta dặn: Một tấc đất của tiền nhân để lại, cũng không được để lọt vào tay kẻ khác...
Ta muốn lời nhắn nhủ này như một di chúc cho con cháu muôn đời sau. Quá khứ là gốc rễ của tương lai, rễ càng đâm sâu thì cây mới vững vàng và càng vươn cao”.
